Coastal Designs has designed homes all along the Atlantic seaboard coast for over 30 years. Our NEW 2011 Cottage Brochures contains over 300 cottages, bungalows and traditional homes inspired by coastal architecture and its relaxed life-style. We have home designs for the barrier islands, waterways, towns, villages and communities along many coastal areas. We have special plans for beach cottages and vacation cottages as well as retirement cottages, rental cottages and duplex cottages. Many of our designs are on raised piers or pilings (“stilts” as some people say), but we also have designs for crawl space or slab construction. Plans with inverted floor plans (living on the top floor), double-frontage lots, narrow lots, golf course lots, intracoastal waterway lots, lake-side lots and traditional neighborhoods and coastal communities. We have cottages for single-family, duplexes and townhouses. Most of our plans are designed to be energy efficient and economical to build. If you need, we can even help you with a “Green” cottage, built to the energy-efficient standards of the US Government’s EPA ENERGY STAR program.
